Our Story
HOPE – Humans Offering Paradise on Earth is a student run non-profitable charity organization which turns 6 years now. It provides a space for our children to know the right needy and support the society voluntarily. It extends its support to the following areas.
- Medical aid like cataract surgery, dialysis and for cancer treatments.
- House maintenance and house construction.
- Marriage
- Educational support
- Food, clothing, utensils, hearing aid, wheel chairs for the old-age homes
- Consent for organ donation
- Hair donation for cancer patients
It means a lot, when we understand the pain of others to face threat in life is acknowledge by someone unknown to get relieved from the claws of the drudgery of life.
This HOPE is a student wing that functions with the BSS Educational Society that has Tax Reduction Certificate 80 (G) of Income Tax.
Understanding the credibility and accountability of HOPE, eminent personalities have contributed generously to it.
About Our School
Our school BSS Gurukulam is a rising sun with all its radiance, spreading the principles of our founder Swami Nirmalananda Yogi, the ardent disciple of the social reformer Brahmananda Swami Sivayogi who contributed a relentless service in uplifting the society providing education for all to eradicate the social evil – the Racial Discrimination. Brahmananda Swami Sivayogi is a great sage who had spent the whole life for propagating the philosophy of eternal strength of human mind attained Moksha in the year 1929 and is alive through his divine doctrines.
Since 1972 we are in to the society mending inequalities and bridging the gap between the technology and the cultural values and where we have been successful in engineering students to fit in the society. This dream school’s ultimate aim to make a child ‘believe in himself’, which raises his self-confidence to appraise and appreciate everything with humanitarian ground which is the need of the hour.
This is a school under the BSS Educational society, that was framed in the year 1984 and since then with great responsibility the management runs this institution efficiently and the school escalates from the good to the best.
The Society Secretary Sri. K Balachandran is a former teacher who knows the length and breadth of this school and that inspiration has transformed him to be a backbone of the school where his tireless efforts contributed a lot to the management to run smooth with the institution.
Our Principal Dr. Vijayan V Anand spearheads this institution with his special strategy of SMAPPY SCHOOL system that regulates the child to be Smart and Happy
School’s Role in HOPE
Recognizing the need of this charitable organization, teachers do work alongside the students to raise funds to this HOPE. Beyond being a good teacher in Academics, we nurture children at young age to win happiness by extending help to others. This personal satisfaction will gain them an unquestionable realization towards the purpose of life.
Evidently, this fosters togetherness for a common purpose and helps to build a strong school ethos. During collecting and distributing they are trained to be responsible children and are engaged in work in the society.
At times we install food stalls, music concerts and promote healthy approach towards charity where they could sell their potential to earn money instead of blindly bargaining for money. This increases the virtue of charity.
In the form of scholarships we provide free education to children who excel in arts, sports and academics.
Fund raised in HOPE is purely collected by the student community of our school. They spare their birthday celebrations, prize money from various competitions and contribute that amount to HOPE. Ex-students of our school donate once in a year from their salary for the sake of this charity work.
